The depot in Central City was at the junction of the L&N and Illinois Central Railroads before their tracks were elevated.

Note the popcorn popper in the front of Robertson Drug Store. Later this was used for many years on the sidewalk of Broad Street
to sell popcorn and business was brisk on a Saturday night when large crowds came to town.
