Photo Album of Muhlenberg County

This is a collection of historical pictures of Muhlenberg County. Like a family album, they are not in any particular order. There is no arrangement in character of subject or date that the photo was made. When there is no exact knowledge, many dates are shown as "circa." If the quality of the picture you view on your monitor is poor, it is because the quality of the original photograph was poor. Sometimes you will see a 'copy of a copy' of the original. You may view thumbnail sizes, and if you wish to observe a larger size of the photo double click on the picture. Many photos are from the collection of Gayle R. Carver. Hard copies may be viewed at the History Annex of the Muhlenberg County Library in Greenville. Comments by email to tbriz@muhlon.com. Picture files created by Thomas S. Brizendine
